The Central Kitsap Cougars of Silverdale have been ranked in the national top ten for most of this season. On Wednesday night at Silverdale Stadium they showed why in a 7:2 win over Tahoma in the WIAA 4A State Soccer Playoffs. Jeff Halstead was at the match and shares photos.
The Kitsap Sun’s Jeff Graham has a match report from the CK-Tahoma contest. Miles Rodriguez-Nilsen scored three goals and added two assists for the Cougars.
Central Kitsap hosts Issaquah’s Eagles — 3-0 winners over Union in the first round — on Saturday in the quarterfinals.
