All four of Puget Sound’s Premier Development League (PDL) sides are underway after a weekend of action saw Washington Crossfire and the North Sound SeaWolves invade Abbotsford BC to play the Fraser Valley Mariners.

Gordley levels for Washington
On Saturday Washington Crossfire drew 1:1 with Fraser Valley. The Washington goal was scored by former Kitsap Pumas striker Eli Gordley. Crossfire opens their home season tonight at Redmond High School when they host the Victoria Highlanders at 5 PM.
SeaWolves rally in the Valley
The North Sound SeaWolves followed Crossfire up to Canada, and on Sunday they scored two second half goals to beat Fraser Valley 2:1 in their season opener. The North Sound goals were scored by Abdu Aman and Brady Ballew.
Pumas ruff up Sounders U-23
On Saturday night in Bremerton the Kitsap Pumas and Sounders U-23 kicked off the Puget Sound derby with the first-ever Ruffneck Cup match. Kitsap won it, 3:1. Matt Friesen scored twice for Kitsap. Ben Truax added in one. The U-23 goal came from Sean Morris.
