Emerald City breaks out with five goals, Issaquah draws in Eugene

Saturday in Oregon Issaquah SC played to an eventful 1:1 stand-off with Eugene Metro Azul. ISC came from behind but two players ended up going to the emergency room with head injuries. In Bend ECFC broke a four-match streak of ties.

Kennya Cordner got Issaquah’s equalizer, then later two ISC players were hurt. Molly Boyd and Sadie Phonpadith were injured with about eight minutes left in the match and were reported to be OK after a trip to the local hospital. Phonpadith may have a broken nose.

Issaquah is now 4-1-2 on the season with 14 points.

Oregon Rush 0:5 Emerald City FC

A streak of close calls adding up to four straight draws has ended for ECFC. Emerald City won for the first time since their inaugural match, this time over the hapless Oregon Rush. After six matches played the expansion Seattle side remains undefeated with a 2-0-4 record.

We don’t yet have further match details.
