Issaquah SC regains first place with 3:1 triumph at Portland Rain

Issaquah SC continued their dynamite expansion WPSL season with a 3:1 win over the Portland Rain in Oregon on Friday night.

Stephanie Cummins, Shawna Anderson and Joana Houplin netted goals for Issaquah SC on Friday night to give the club a 3:1 over the Portland Rain.

The Oregon trip continues Saturday at 2:00 PM as ISC takes on Eugene Metro Azul.

ISC improves to 4-1-1 with 13 standings points. The Rain are now 3-2-2 with 11.  Today’s ISC opponent Eugene are currently fourth in the table with two wins.

Eugene Metro 2:2 Emerald City FC

After winning their debut match, Emerald City FC have now played to four consecutive draws, including Friday night’s stoppage time heartbreaker in Eugene. ECFC’s 1-0-4 record sees them reamin undefeated, but in fifth place on standings points.
