Italian club Empoli to hold local youth tryouts through Islander FC

We recently featured the debut of new local youth club Islander FC.

Today that club announces a unique professionally-run tryout experience happening this July.

Empoli (Italian Serie B) is sending a scout to look at players ages 13-21 in Washington.

The trial fee is $195.

A scout for the Empoli FC will be on Mercer Island for 10 days. Islander FC
is hosting the first Empoli FC Trial from July 16th – 20th.

It’s a great opportunity for kids who would like the opportunity to attend a
professional trial and to realize a dream of traveling to Europe to compete
and potentially land a position with a professional youth team.

The trial is held for a week. The scout has the opportunity to select/invite
two players to return to Italy for the Official Empoli FC Trial in September.
