The Washington / Oregon Showcase Invitational hosted at Skyline High School this weekend has concluded with Bellarmine winning and Skyline drawing. The Issaquah Eagles beat the Westview Wildcats 3:0 in the last match of the tournament. See day one’s recap here.

Lauren Fricke scored in the 22nd minute to give the Lions of Tacoma their first Showcase win. Dani Nurmi added two second-half goals for Bellarmine to complete the three-goal triumph.

Izzy Marshall scored twice (71st, 76th) to lead the Skyline Spartans to a draw with the visiting Tualitin Timberwolves. Marshall’s final goal was a 30-yard shot lofted past the Timberwolves’ goalkeeper. Tualitin had taken a 2:0 lead on earlier goals from Corrie Togiai and Kyla Hackleman. The Eagles remain unbeaten in non-league matches (4-0-0) after whipping Westview in the closer. Audrey Thomas (2 goals) and Rachel Wheeler (both assists) connected twice in the first half for Issy, and then in the 45th Sophia Kim added a third to lead the Washington school.
Washington schools showed very well against the Oregon powers, taking the tournament with the most wins, and only one draw and one loss overall.
