Seattle Stars FC and head coach Juan Sandoval are part of the new International Premier Soccer League under the banner of the WSSA. (SeattleStarsFC.com)

The last time we heard news from Seattle Stars FC was when they won the ANSL Washington division over Yakima United FC. Now the Stars are back and they are playing in a new local league under the banner of the Washington State Soccer Association. Along with Rairdon.com, Liga Hispana and Yakima United the Stars are a part of the new International Premier Soccer League.

Matches in the new league are underway and in round one Seattle fell 5:3 to Rairdom.com while Liga Hispana beat Yakima United FC 4:2.

www.SeattleStarsFC.com reflects the new changes for the club.

Liga Hispana is a team formed out of the prominent www.LigaHispana.com of the Bellevue area. Rairdon.com has played in Liga Hispana and also traveled to US Adult Soccer regionals. Yakima United FC was also in the ANSL and is fed talent through local leagues in Yakima. The Stars get many of their players from Kent’s www.AztecSoccerLeague.com.

Speaking the of the ANSL, they are advertising their national championships and have posted that Olympia-area club Thurston County Premier FC are amongst the clubs that will travel for the finals.

Hello David, I am an Olympia soccer enthusiast and I was just noticing that bit towards the end of this article and how thurston county premier fc was mentioned and I just can not understand how thurston county premier fc continues to falsify its credibility by these random advertising schemes that places their logo next to “us club soccer, and llike 10 different organizations and leagues all at the same time. Everytime I go see them play on sunday….they lose and barely have enough players to field a team. It’s so frustrating to see this club continue to take advantage of the potential our area has to offer and it bothers me that no one is treating this issue seriously. We must back the Tumwater Pioneers the new PASL indoor team, since they are new to the scene and legitimately organizing! Anyways, nothing against the Stars! Good luck in the IPSL! Someday Olympia will shine!
