SILVERDALE, Wash.—The Klahowya Eagles beat city rivals Olympic Trojans 1:0 on Tuesday night in Silverdale (West Sound) to improve their 2012 2A girls high school soccer record to 10-0-0.
“It was not our prettiest soccer,” Eagles head coach Troy Oelschlager told Jeff Graham of the Kitsap Sun. “We just didn’t have our possession game today. Usually we move the ball a lot better.”
Still the Eagles won again on a goal from Ashley Mjor in the 10th minute. Jeff Halstead was at the match and shares an exclusive photo gallery with goalWA.net. See a few shots below and the entire collection at Facebook.com/goalWA.
In the latest Seattle Times High School rankings Klahowya (who at the time had nine wins) placed 5th.
