BELLINGHAM, Wash. - The annual Pacific Coast Soccer League (PCSL) meetings were held November 10th in Surrey, BC. The biggest news to come out of the event for Bellingham United fans is the introduction of two new teams into the Men’s Premier Division and the exit of a first-year rival.
The Kamloops Heat (Reserve table toppers in 2012) and Estrella De Chile will compete against the Hammers in 2013 in a Premier Division that will feature ten sides and a balanced 18-match home / away schedule. Poco City FC, a team that Bellingham had two contentious matches with in 2012, have not been invited back to the league this season. The league has not disclosed the reason for the rejection of Poco City.
