SPOKANE, Wash. - The Spokane Valley Soccer League (www.spokanevalleysoccerleague.com, facebook.com/SoccerSpokane) is a co-ed adult league in the Lilac City that organizes with the goal of “providing a recreational soccer environment for the fun and physical fitness of men and women, as well as furthering sportsmanship, nurturing community spirit and fostering social gathering in the community of Spokane and Spokane Valley, Washington.”
It’s been a fun year for the SVSL, including hosting a soccer skills event earlier in the year at Joe Albi Stadium, and of course crowning league champions. The Fall champs were recently crowned and the winners were Dick N’ Jane (see photo below.)
Players in the SVSL took to the pitch earlier in 2012 for an adult soccer skills event that featured Gonzaga Bulldogs assistant Women’s coach Shea Swaboda and Spokane Shine head coach Jason Quintero. The league considers the event a success, and hopes to make it an annual tradition.

The SVSL has three divisions (A, B, C) that featured as many as 14 total teams this year. The league has scheduled matches at various locations, as their field locations page shows. The league has specific rules of play for co-ed soccer.
