Then add in a move from Greece to Seattle, a new league, new defenders, and you begin to understand the daunting climb faced by Austrian Michael Gspurning in 2012. It all turned out quite well, didn’t it? Sounders supporters think so as the very likable goalkeeper was picked as player of the year by both Gorilla FC and the Emerald City Supporters.
