ANAHEIM, Calif.—The Tacoma Stars pulled their goalkeeper to add a sixth attacker but the final result was still a loss, the club’s fourth straight, after an 8:7 Anaheim Bolts win in Southern California. Friday night the Stars lost 15:6 in Las Vegas.
The Bolts match report says: Defender Garr Persson turned in a standout performance for the hosts, as he played an unusual role by carrying his team’s attack with four tallies. The fans at Bolts Arena saw a nail-biter in the final period, Tacoma bringing on a sixth attacker and the Anaheim defense doing well to hold on for a victory by the slightest of margins.
The Tacoma Stars are now 3-6 on the season as they dropped towards the lower part of the PASL Pacific Division. Anaheim travels to the Northwest to face the Stars at the Pacific Sports Center January 19 and 20. See complete Stars season schedule here.
