So much for the comforts of home. On Saturday night January 12 the Premier Arena Soccer League Northwest Division saw three blowouts and the winners in each occasion were the away teams.
In Tumwater the South Sound Shock drubbed the Tumwater Pioneers to stay undefeated. In Salem, Oregon the Kitsap Pumas crushed Oregon Blacktails FC. In Marysville the Wenatchee Fire doubled up on the Ruckus. Only the WSA Rapids of Bellingham managed to satisfy the home fans as they tripped the Arlington Aviators. See scores below.

Tumwater Pioneers 2:11 South Sound Shock
South Sound Shock come away with big win as the visiting team in Tumwater tonight. 11:2 was the score with 4 goals and an assist to Derek Johnson, 3 goals and an assist to captain Byron Conforti and 23 saves in 55 minutes for Aaron Anderson. South Sound now 4-0-1 with 13 points. Tumwater 0-0-4, 0 points. (Tumwater match report)
Oregon Blacktails FC 3:13 Kitsap Pumas
Last week the Kitsap Pumas played down a man six times. This week in Salem the Pumas gave up only one power play as they romped over the Blacktails. Kitsap is now 3-1-1 with 10 points, good enough for second place in the PASL NW. Oregon is 2-2-0 with six points.
WSA Rapids 10:7 Arlington Aviators
In the first period the match was very open and attacking ending at 2-2. As the game progressed, the Rapids took control and continued to press and create opportunities. The second period began with a pair of goals from Gibson Bardsley, who was a threat throughout the match. The third period saw goals from Kellan Brown and another from Gibson Bardsley. Brown scored his first of the game, hitting the ball one-time into the upper corner. After the third period, the Rapids pulled away and the score was 8-4. In the 4th period, the game was wide open seeing plenty of action on both ends. Rapids and Aviators now both 2-3-0 with six points.
Marysville Ruckus 6:12 Wenatchee Fire
The Wenatchee Fire won their third straight match by out-gunning the Marysville Ruckus. The Fire are now 3-2-0 with 9 points and have moved up to third place. The Ruckus are 2-3-0 with six points. Wilson Tsoi was at the match and shares a giant gallery of nearly 130 photos at Facebook.com/goalWA!
