BELLINGHAM, Wash. — The Pacific Coast Soccer League (PCSL) is only three months long. That leaves a lot of down time for the Hammers of Bellingham United, coming off of their successful debut season of 2012.
It’s not all breaks and breathers for BUFC, though. They have been working behind the scenes to line up overseas player exchanges. They have also been communicating with partner clubs in Holland and England.
Just this week the club posted on its Facebook page that the 2013 PCSL home opener would likely be on Cinco de Mayo, May 5 at Civic Stadium. www.PCSL.org says the 2013 schedule will be out in February.

Free Hammers t-shirts were given to WSA Rapids indoor soccer fans as BUFC hosted their match on January 26. (BUFC)
The Hammers hosted the PASL soccer match between the WSA Rapids and Snohomish Skyhawks on January 26 at the Bellingham Sportsplex, giving out 250 free Hammers t-shirts.
The club was excited to see that the top-of-page sports story in the Bellingham Herald on Sunday January 27 was about two Hammers players now over in Holland.
The Hammers recently announced a partnership with Reset Games of Bellingham, including a ffree BUFC scarf when you buy Fifa Soccer 13, and a video soccer tournament on February 2.
