SEATTLE, Wash.— If you are a soccer fan in the great Northwest and have a Gmail account, then there is a pretty good chance you’ve seen the links and banners from Seattle Reign FC promoting season ticket sales. The Google ads have been all over the internet, triggered by the words “Seattle,” “Reign,” “soccer,” and also by the location linked to your IP address. A few screen-capped examples are posted below.
Are the Reign in your inbox?
The Reign are on multiple pages of the goalWA.net Musuem where Google ads appear.
The Reign are owned and operated by Bill Predmore, founder of Seattle’s Pop Agency. Working the internet and social media to obtain brand status and desired growth is what they are all about.
No word yet on how well the ads are doing.
The Reign recently announced their 2013 season schedule in the newly-created National Women’s Soccer League. The club has made previous splashes with the hiring of the Arsenal Ladies head coach and this week’s announcement of a pre-season tour in Japan.
Googling “Seattle Reign” presents an ad link at the top of the page.
