LOGO WARS top seeds all advance to elite eight; new polls now open
The battle between the logos of Washington state’s professional and semi-pro soccer clubs continues today on goalWA.net with the elite eight taking each other on in the second round.
The first-round polls closed last night and all of the final results can be seen on that voting page. Most of the battles were not close, but two lower seeds gave it a nice go. The 15th-seeded Tumwater Pioneers fell to the Tacoma Stars 56-44% and the Wenatchee Fire hung with the South Sound Shock, 58-42%. Over 2,600 votes were cast in the first round.
