306soccer.com update: Lakewood tops South Whidbey

ARLINGTON, WA —Aaron Johnson is an assistant coach and goalkeeper trainer at Lakewood High School in Arlington. The school has a great soccer website at www.306soccer.com that keeps track of its program in detail. Today they share some photos and a video from a March 29 match.

“Going into this game, Lakewood was 2-1 and South Whidbey was 2-0 in league,” Aaron tells goalWA.net.

“The first picture comes from the GoPro we have set up behind one of the goals which caught this great defensive stop by Luke McKeehan to save a goal. He also made a second nice slide to block what would have been another goal later in the game (both seen in the video). The first goal for Lakewood was by Kendal Kippen in the 34th minute and the second goal was by Ricky Rosales in the 47th minute. Lakewood went on to win 2-0.”
