Pumasx200BREMERTON, WA — The Kitsap Pumas of the Premier Development League (PDL) hosted the Peninsula Pirates of Port Angeles (NWAACC) on Saturday night in a scrimmage at Gordon Field, the new home of the side. goalWA.net was at the scrimmage and we’ve got a few photos of players and action as well as a separate gallery showing how Gordon Field looks right now as bleachers have been set in place for the upcoming league campaign.

It was a very busy day for the Pirates of Peninsula Community College. In Seattle at 1:00 PM they scrimmaged with and defeated the Washington Huskies, 3:1. Then they took the team bus around the horn and back towards home to play Kitsap. In four 30-minute sessions the Pumas topped the Pirates overall 4:1. Trialist Kennedy Chongo (Ventura County Fusion), scored two crafty goals for Kitsap.

Wearing #7 for Kitsap, trialist Kennedy Chongo, impressed the gathering with two nifty goals earlier on for the Pumas. One was a give and go in the box, the other a cheeky chip from distance over the goalkeeper. (David Falk)
