Wenatchee United helps light the Fire indoors

The PASL Wenatchee Fire feature players who will also appear on the roster of Wenatchee United FC in the EPLWA in 2014.

375-wufc(www.EPLWA.com) On Saturday November 23, in another glimpse of what lies ahead, the Wenatchee Fire Football Club went on the road to the Bellingham Sportsplex with a squad that will look very familiar to what the Wenatchee United Football Club will field in the Evergreen Premier League (EPLWA) in 2014.

The Whatcom Soccer Academy (WSA) Rapids held their home opener against the Wenatchee Fire, in front of a packed house of both Rapids and traveling Fire fans.

The visiting Wenatchee Fire side had the likes of Andy Garcia, Johnny Rodriguez, Edger Leon, Hector Miguel Avalos, Dylan Avey, Adrian Espinosa, Cesar Avila, Mike Avey, Pedro Cruz, Alex Escalera, Vidal Hurtado, Jorge Rincon, Miguel Galvan and GK Tristen Ryles, who made many saves throughout the night to keep the Rapids at bay.

Also in attendance was Bellingham United Football Club (BUFC) Vice President Ted Denessen, who was surveying the Wenatchee Fire’s talent. The visiting club  pulled off an 9-8 win against the ever-surging Rapids.

Coach Reyna stated his players are excited about the opportunity to continue with their high-level of play after their PASL season.

Wenatchee United will be hosting the first EPLWA Annual General Meeting in early January at the Coast Hotel Wenatchee. All EPLWA clubs are looking forward to a productive session and taking in a bit of the finest that Wenatchee has to offer.
