Emerald City FC shares players with Spokane Shine, but not the points

ecfclogoSHORELINE, WA — Emerald City FC cruised to a fourth straight victory on Saturday afternoon June 15 at King’s High School’s Woosley Stadium over the winless Spokane Shine. In order for the match to be played ECFC had to loan players from their roster to Spokane. Issaquah SC also chipped in a player for the Shine.

“The Spokane Shine used four players from Emerald City’s roster and one player from Issaquah in order to have twelve players for the game,” ECFC head coach Niki Taylor said after the match.

“It’s not ideal, but is in-line with league rules as long as the visiting team can provide seven players and the guest players from other teams are registered with the WPSL and not starters for those teams.”
