PCC-PiratesTUKWILA, WA — The Peninsula College Pirates had targets on their black and gold uniforms all season long. The Men and Women from Port Angeles were nationally ranked and defending NWAACC Champions after their dual accomplishment in 2012. PCC answered the call on Sunday at Starfire, and both teams have survived close matches to repeat as title-holders. It’s the first time in league history a school has accomplished the feat.

Metro Video Producer filmed both matches for goalWA.net and you can view our exclusive video highlights from both matches here!

Pirates-2 Tritons-1 & Pirates-1 Penguins-0

In the Men’s Final it was Alex Martinez’ goal in the 85th minute that steered the Pirates past the Clark College Penguins, 1:0. In the Women’s Final it was a matter of a few crucial minutes as PCC turned a 1:0 Edmonds Tritons lead (goal by Irina Lyons in the 40th) around with goals in the 70th (Dominique Niedziela) and 71st (Larkyn Nelson.)
