Central Valley Bears improve ranking prospects with latest win


SPOKANE, WA — The Central Valley High School Bears were ranked 10th in the state of Washington in 4A when Scoreczar debuted his first Top 25 last week. The Bears made an argument for staying in the top ten when they beat University 3-1 on Wednesday.

The Bears are now 6-1-0 on the season and 2-1-0 in Greater Spokane League play. After break CV faces undfeated Ferris (6-0-0) on April 16th. The Bears are hoping to keep momentum after the CV Girls won the state title in soccer last fall. Read a Spokesman-Review feature here.

Miguel Naves scored twice for the Bears in the win over U-High.
