Video Buzz: WestSound FC Men shut down by Geoduck goalkeeper Clark

300wsfcSILVERDALE, WA —– The WestSound FC Men of the Evergreen Premier League had hopes of starting their pre-season schedule in a positive way as they hosted the Evergreen State Geoducks Saturday night at Silverdale Stadium. They got their wish, but not a win. WestSound FC attacked the Evergreen goal often in the second half, but the crossbar and agile work from freshman goalkeeper Tom Clark (Montana’s Whitefish Bulldogs) kept WestSound from breaking through. Nate Boatright (transfer from Concordia Portland) headed home the winner for the Geoducks in the 70th minute. The match was watched by a crowd of around 200 fans. (Photos)

WestSound opens its EPLWA season on Sunday April 27 at 4 PM when they host South Sound FC at Silverdale Stadium.
