Vancouver Victory FC scores Muchas Gracias Mexican Food as marquee sponsor

VANCOUVER, WA— Vancouver Victory FC have announced that Muchas Gracias Mexican Restaurants will be the club’s shirt sponsor in 2014 and 2015. The popular dining chain has restaurants in Southwest Washington and greater Portland. Muchas Gracias CEO Rodolfo Sanchez de la Torre oversees 37 restaurants, 11 in the Vancouver area, where the chain in based.

The two year deal assures Muchas Gracias will be the Victory’s  marquee sponsor with their logo going on the Vancouver jerseys.  The deal comes with options for future sponsorship years.

“We announced to the team last night that Muchas Gracias was going to be our marquee sponsor and the boys cheered their approval loudly!” says Victory owner Barrett Goddard.

“The players are very happy with this sponsor.”

The Victory had a game plan designed with hopes of connecting to strong local businesses. “When we began our strategy for corporate partners we identified seven area Clark County based businesses that we would like as a primary marquee sponsor. Muchas Gracias was on that list, so we are very excited to be partnered up with them.”

The partnership is destined to work well both ways, says Goddard. “Rodolfo loves soccer and I love Mexican food so this is a win-win for both of us!”
