College Scoreboard: Zags breakthrough for first win of season


The Gonzaga Bulldogs Men can breathe a sigh of relief after getting their first win of the 2014 season in a 4-2 thriller over UNLV Saturday in Spokane.

“We stuck to the game plan and were committed to the counter,” said head coach Einar Thorarinsson. “Some issues with corners and free kicks, but overall four goals is four goals. We’ll take it.”
