TACOMA, WA—-The Western Indoor Soccer League (WISL)will host the first annual Northwest Indoor Soccer Invitationalon Saturday November 1 at the Tacoma Soccer Center, home of the Tacoma Stars. The event is open to all elite indoor clubs in the region. The cost is $175 per club and includes top-level officiating, a minimum of three games, and photographers and writers at the tournament to give any attending team press coverage.
“We would like to welcome as many clubs as possible from around the Northwest to come to Tacoma and celebrate the start of our indoor seasons,” says WISL Commissioner John Crouch. “We have some great teams in high-level leagues in our region and this is a chance for all of us to get ready for our seasons as well as measure ourselves against each other.”
Along with all WISL clubs the event is open to Premier Arena Soccer League (PASL) clubs and other elite squads. The Tacoma Soccer Center is the historic heartbeat of the sport in Washington. This also gives a wide range of clubs and players a chance to compete on the Field Turf surface of the famous venue the MISL Tacoma Stars once trained in.
