SEATTLE, WA – UW women’s soccer won its fourth straight Pac-12 match, beating Oregon State 3-0 Monday night at Husky Soccer Field.
The win gives the Huskies (11-4-0, 4-2-0 Pac-12) sole possession of third place in the conference with 12 points. The Beavers (0-11-3, 0-5-0 Pac-12) remained winless on the season.

“This (OSU) team is good enough to beat you,” head coach Lesle Gallimore told the school athletic website. “They have some really dangerous attacking players, they played hard for 90 minutes and they didn’t give up. It was a game we couldn’t afford to lose. For me, I think we defended really well. It was a tremendous team effort.”
“It was definitely exciting,” Rachel Wheeler told the UW Daily after she scored her first Washington goal. “The thing I love about this team is that when we’re up 2-0 we still want the third goal.”
The Huskies hit the road this weekend for games against Utah on Friday at 7 p.m. MT and Colorado on Sunday at 12 p.m. PT.
