Ambush run past Stars in St. Louis

St.Charles, MO- In the Stars’ third road match in MASL play, the team was unsuccessful against the St. Louis Ambush in the Family Arena on Saturday night, as the Ambush were victorious by a score of 13-3. Four different St. Louis players accounted for 12 of the Ambush’s 13 goals, while Derek Johnson scored two of Tacoma’s three goals.

St. Louis were firmly in control during the game’s opening quarter, as the Ambush found the back of the net four times. For the second straight game in a row, Gordy Gurson scored a brace in the game’s opening quarter. Ross MacGregor and Elvir Kafedzic also scored goals of their own to put the Stars in a hole early.
