Kitsap Pumas, Alliance join forces

The Kitsap soccer community is coming together to form what should eventually be stronger teams to compete at the highest levels with the news below that the Pumas and Alliance will be working together. See player tryout info here.
alliance-youthDear Kitsap Alliance Families and Friends,

We are excited to announce that we officially entered into collaborations with the Kitsap Pumas SC, which was finalized earlier today. Our Board of Directors, along with the Kitsap Pumas, believes that bringing players, families and resources together, will improve youth soccer in our community.

We know this may bring up questions for many of you-and we will be working to answer them over the next few months as we begin to work together. Here are a few of the details you may wonder about:
After Spring Season, we will be combining our players, coaches and boards and operating under Kitsap Alliance FC.
In 2016, after our uniform contract is fulfilled, the board will review the club’s branding, making any desired modifications to support our commitment to remain inclusive, including input from any other clubs who have committed to align with Kitsap Alliance.
Over this past weekend, our board has worked tirelessly to help both organizations move towards a unified club in time for the 2015/16 season and with minimal impact to all.
We believe that this alliance is in the best interests of the current and future generations of youth soccer players and families. Our goal is to strive for a single premier club operated at the highest of professional standards.

Collaborating in this way will undoubtedly see maximum benefit to player development in the area. Each passing year with our competing youth soccer programs, Kitsap County continues to lose coaches and players to other premier clubs, further afield and from the game of soccer altogether.

Please join us in celebrating, and welcoming Kitsap Soccer Club players and families as we get to know and work with one another.

Sincerely,
Kasey O’Leary
President, Board of Directors
Kitsap Alliance FC

  1. Yay. Let us know schedule asap. Thot I saw a game scheduled in April. If it is south of king county it could be the first seasonal league game. I am ready.
