BREMERTON, WA— The Kitsap Pumas of the Premier Development League (PDL) continue to gather talent for their 2015 season. In recent days the club has announced the signings of Graham Davidson, Hiroki Kobayashi, Buba Findi Jammeh and Joe Masumyia.
Kitsap head coach Cameron MacDonald has this to say about the new Pumas…
“Graham (Davidson) is a good kid and he certainly doesn’t lack confidence. While he still has room to grow as a player I’m sure he will prove be a good addition to the squad and ultimately use this experience to help in his pursuit of a career in the game.”
“Keith (Sargent, assistant coach) and I stumbled across Hiroki (Kobayashi) by chance when were taking in a Sounders 2 preseason game. He is someone who is definitely going to play the style of soccer we are looking for this summer. He’s a real live wire and the fans should be excited to watch him play.”
“Buba (Findi Jammeh) performed exceptionally well on Saturday night and after talking with the player and Margarito Avila [Stars President] it’s clear he has a real desire to pursue full-time professional soccer and that joining the Pumas for this season is the right move for him. He went on to say “The Seattle Stars are a great organization and have been extremely supportive of this move. I’m sure they are disappointed to lose such a quality player, however they recognize that joining a full-time professional training environment will give him the best shot and earning a move to the next level.”
“Richie Grant [CSUB Head Coach] and I both share the same philosophy on the game so when he brought Joe (Masumyia) to me I had no hesitation in bringing to the club. In the times I’ve watched Joe he’s always been able to take control of games and I’m sure he’ll prove to be a great addition to the squad.”
