WWU_Vikings(190)BELLINGHAM, Wash. — (school release) Conner Moe has been named assistant men’s soccer coach at Western Washington University. Making that announcement on Wednesday, March 25, was Viking head coach Greg Brisbon.

“We are excited to have Conner join our staff and help us continue to grow into one of the elite men’s soccer programs in the country,” said Brisbon. “Conner has a good understanding of recruiting in Washington and I feel he will be a great fit for our program.”

The 23-year-old Moe comes to WWU from Great Northwest Athletic Conference rival Montana State University Billings where he was an assistant coach the last two seasons after being an all-conference player for the Yellowjackets for three years.

Moe, a graduate of Snohomish High School, was a full-time assistant at MSUB last season after being a volunteer in 2013. During that stretch, he also played last spring with the Seattle Sounders in the National Premier Soccer League.

Moe, a defender for MSUB, was a first-team GNAC all-star in 2011 and earned second-team honors in 2010 and 2012. He was team captain all three years.

Moe started 53 of 54 games during his Yellowjacket career, scoring four goals and having one assist.
