BREMERTON, WA— The Kitsap Pumas inproved to 2-0-0 in Premier Development League (PDL) play with a 3-1 win over expansion side Calgary Foothills FC on Friday night at Gordon Field. Mike Chamberlain exploded for a second-half hat trick to lead the home side.

The league home opener for the Pumas drew an announced crowd of just 291, the smallest showing for an opener in the 7-year history of the club, and one of the smallest crowds ever overall.
Despite the small turnout their was a festive feel to the night with a military musical presence and a puma mascot prowling the sidelines.
Calgary to some air out of the event early on when they scored in the 4th minute on a goal from Darius Ramsay.
It stayed that way until the 65th minute. That’s when Chamberlain began his outburst with a goal assisted by Justin Ortinau that made it 1-1.
In the 75th Chamberlain gave Kitsap the lead thanks to a feed from Matt Eronemo. Then he completed his hat trick in the 84th minute on an assist from Buba Jammeh.
