(Submission to goalWA.net) We at Northwest Soccer Camps are excited to announce that ANSON DORRANCE, coach of world-renowned Women’s National player MIA HAMM, will be joining usJune 28 – July 3 to put on a world-class resident camp for girls only at Bastyr University in Kenmore, Washington. If you have serious female athletes who are determined to play college level soccer, they do not want to miss this once in a lifetime opportunity!
This is a girls-only program featuring ANSON DORRANCE renowned as the finest women’s soccer coach on the planet. Anson’s coaching method is the highest definition of excellence in developing the female soccer player. Along with almost double the wins of any soccer coach in America—and an unbeaten streak of 101 games including 92 consecutive wins—it’s safe to say he is the world’s premier soccer tutor. ANSON is not only the Head Coach for the perennial NCAA National Division I Women’s Soccer Championship Team – leading the University of North Carolina to 22  National Championships – including NINE-IN-A-ROW – he also led the United States Women’s National Team to the first-ever women’s World Championship!  The list of world class women that Anson has coached is mindboggling but suffice it to say MIA HAMM – alum of UNC and MICHELLE AKERS alum of UCF, and FIFA’s female player of the past century – represent the headliners of All American and All World players that ANSON DORRANCE has coached. Anson’s #1 assistant coach–Federal Way’s own Jason Sisneros – is the director of his UNC camps – and will oversee setting up camp for the famed grid training that every woman that has ever played for Anson has experienced. ANSON DORRANCE WEEK is a once-in-a-lifetime experience your players will not want to miss!

WHY TEAM TRAINING WITH ANSON?

If you are interested in team training for your FEMALE soccer players ages 12-17: ANSON DORRANCE IS THE #1 SOCCER COACH IN AMERICA…IF NOT THE WORLD! He has coached the University of North Carolina women’s soccer teams to 22 National Championships in addition to leading the US Women’s National Team to the inaugural world championship. (He’s not done yet! This fall he will go for #23!) Attending this week as an individual player is one thing; coming as a team – including coaches – is a “Once-in-a-Lifetime” opportunity.

BENEFITS OF TEAM TRAINING

Northwest Soccer Camp (NSC) is renowned for the individual training it has provided to thousands of players including several – MICHELLE AKERS, KASEY KELLER, MARCUS HAHNEMANN, PETER HATTRUP –  who have achieved worldwide fame as professional players. But every player attending NSC is considered special and is given the same attention. At the same time, many players and coaches inquire about “TEAM TRAINING” which is offered every week of camp all summer long. Teams (minimum of eight players) are trained together with focus placed on what the team coach feels is needed for his/her team. The benefits of such training allows teams to further develop understanding about positional play as well as team tactics pertaining to situational strategies needed for possession, attacking and defending, special restart plays, etc. During our featured league play, team members may be split into smaller groups since league play comprises teams from 4v4 up to 8v8 but the overall benefits will be greater.
