The Gunners advanced to the Final thanks to a 3-1 win over the San Diego Sea Lions on Saturday. SoCal FC were the foes in a match that saved all of its drama for very, very late. Issaquah took the lead in the 78th minute when star player Macy Jo Harrison scored her second goal of the playoffs with a penalty kick conversion. Misfortune struck in the 87th minute when a scramble resulted in an own goal against the Gunners that gave SoCal life, 1-1. The match went deep into added time (over five minutes) when the final blow hit the Gunners hard. Michelle Enyeart of SoCal scored in the waning seconds to give the visitors a 2-1 win that ended the Issaquah season. SoCal moves on the WPSL Final Four in Edmond, OK.
