It was clear from the onset that Highline meant business with the team absolutely bossing possession and would not have to wait long to get their reward. Freshman standout Jandjamuje was on hand to finish off some neat interchange play when he blasted home from close range. The strike came in the 6th minute and it was Jandja’s
3rd goal of the season.

clippers-cThe day would turn out to be one to remember for Sophomore Alavaro Osornio as he would notch his first collegiate hat trick as well as go on to register an assist. Alvaro’s first goal would come in the 21st minute as he collected the ball on the top of the Clipper box and ghosted past several defenders before calmly slotted the ball past Puget Sound goalkeeper Brice Civiletti. Osornio would have to wait until the 49th minute to get his second as he converted from close range following some great buildup play by the ‘Birds. In the 78th minute Alvaro completed his hat trick in stylish fashion, receiving a pass from Freshman Daniel Luna, Osornio cut right placing himself 25 yards from the Clipper goal on the left flank. From there Alvaro unleashed a rapier into the upper left corner of the net that left the keeper no chance. Osornio is currently in blistering form, notching 5 goals in four games.
