Car accident tragedy at Wenatchee Valley United

QUINCY, WA— Tragedy has struck Wenatchee Valley United youth soccer club. The message below is currently posted on the WVU Facebook page.

It is with a heavy heart that I write you all tonight. We have had a tragedy occur within our club family.
On Sunday October 4th one of our Wenatchee United Quincy families was in a tragic accident 3 miles outside of Quincy while driving home from one of their PSPL games. This head-on collision took the life of both drivers, Claudia Gracia and Ernesto Espinoza, and injured all passengers.
You can read more about the accident here.
Our Quincy BU11 team has come together in an effort to help raise funds for funeral costs for their teammate’s mom and for medical expenses. They have created a Go Fund me account at https://www.gofundme.com/9b5n7j64 and have also established an account at Wheatland Bank for donations under : BENEFIT FOR THE GONZALEZ FAMILY.

Wheatland bank is located at:

1115 N. Miller Street in Wenatchee.
1015 Central Ave. S. in Quincy

They cannot take online donations.
The team is also raffling off an Ipad. If you would like to purchase tickets, please contact their coach at: johntoevs@msn.com

It is moments like these that give us an opportunity to help support others within our club family at their time of need. Please take a moment to donate.

With sincere thanks,
Cindy Abouammo
Wenatchee Valley United Vice President
