shoreline_dolphinsShoreline wasted no time getting on the score sheet in the 11th minute as Alec Somers scored in his second consecutive game. Despite a number of first half chances the Phins were unable to add to their lead until the 69th minute. Lukie Martinez forced a save from the Everett goalkeeper off a beautiful free kick and Adrian Torres was the first to react giving the Phins a 2-0 lead.

The Phins got an insurance goal in the 84th minute when Ryan Anderson took on three Everett defenders on the left wing then played a cross that got a final touch from Somers. Shoreline held on for the last 6 minutes and walked away with all 3 points.

The victory pushed Shoreline to 3rd place and in sole possession of the last NWAC playoff position. The Phins travel to Whatcom on Wednesday, October 14th to finish off the second round of league play. Their next home game is Saturday, October 24th at 3:00pm in a huge match up with Edmonds.
