Tacoma Stars get rolled in Vegas, 15:6

LAS VEGAS, Nevada—The Tacoma Stars dropped to 3-5 on the Professional Arena Soccer League season after the Las Vegas Legends rolled the Washington visitors 15:6 on Friday night. It was 6:3 Legends at the half but Las Vegas blew the match open with five goals in the third quarter and another four in the fourth.

The Stars pulled to within 6:4 early in the second half on a goal by Daniel Gray before the Legends broke out. Amos Freiheit led the Tacoma with two goals. Las Vegas, coached by Tacoma native and former Stars player-coach Greg Howes, was led by the four goals of Brazilian Ricardo Sobreira.

Tacoma has now been outscored 44-13 in their last three PASL matches, all losses.

The Stars are in Anaheim Saturday night January 5th to play the Bolts before returning home January 19th to face the same squad in Tacoma.
