TACOMA, WA — (press release) The Tacoma Stars have been purchased with the intent of re-establishing their indoor soccer legacy in the near future.
The name, colors, and crest of the Stars have been purchased out of a bankruptcy estate by the Tacoma Soccer Center. Plans are in the early stages to determine what league or leagues the Tacoma Stars might next participate in. The possibility also exists that the Tacoma Soccer Center might license the rights to the brand to a (as yet undetermined) prospective ownership group.
The name “Tacoma Stars” has represented the top-level of indoor soccer in the greater Puget Sound for generations of soccer fans. The Tacoma Soccer Center is excited to play a part in keeping the name and traditions alive for this and future generations.
The Tacoma Soccer Center was the original training facility to the professional MISL Stars that played in the Tacoma Dome from 1983-1992. The more recent version of the semi-pro Tacoma Stars played from 2003- 2011 at the Tacoma Soccer Center. The Stars went on hiatus for the 2013-2014 season.
The Tacoma Soccer Center displays some of the rich history of the Tacoma Stars in the famous Far Post Sports Bar which overlooks the main indoor field. There are large photos of MISL Stars Preki, Ralph Black and Steve Zungul still hanging in The Far Post and starting conversations from onlookers.

The MISL has merged with the PASL. Dion Earl, former player for the Seattle SeaDogs, Seattle Sounders, Kansas City Attack and Seattle Pacific University is the new Legal and official OWNER/CEO of the Tacoma Stars.
Stay Tuned to the PASL website for the further announcement and Local Newspaper and local News.
Also, Stay tuned for further announcements of the Arena that the Stars will play in and the announcement of the Head Coach.
Dion Earl will be a Player Coach for the first season but there will be a Head Coach.
Also, Long Standing Soccer Guru Rich Hawks will be our equipment/Team Locker Room Manager

We’ve seen the legal document. The Stars belong to the Tacoma Soccer Center.
The “Truth” is that a Federal Bankruptcy judge approved the asset sale of the Tacoma Stars that includes , Name, trademark, logo, all applications and registrations, website, royalties, goodwill etc. Should anyone want the legal documents including the court order and bill of sale from trustee for review
